(…taps mic…)
“Is this thing on?”
Oh, hey! Long time! September (and Most of October) has been a blur, but let me catch you up on some things I’ve been working on.
Atlanta Pride has come and gone. I finished up a couple of projects for Pride, including a bolero/shawl, a (HUGE) scarf, and a couple of hats. It was a bit chilly in the early mornings so everything came in handy!

Aside from that, I have completed a couple of other projects.
I’ve wanted to make a granny square bag for some time now. I found this yarn at a Goodwill and loved the combination of colors so away I went. When I was done with the bag, I knew I wanted to line it. Since the colors are very “Georgia Southern University,” and my in-laws are such big fans, I decided the bag was going to my Mother in-law. I found GA Southern fabric online and placed my order. It turned out perfect, and my MIL absolutely loved it!

I finally finished my scrap blanket I’ve been working on since December of last year. Since I used all different types and weights of yarn, I have lovingly named it the “Chaos Blanket.” I even skipped weaving in all of the ends!
OMG – it is my new favorite blanket! I used the Alternative V-Stitch for this blanket and the texture is perfect. I will definitely make this again.

My last big project was this beautiful baby blanket. No one in mind, just wanted to try this pattern and this beautiful yarn (which appears to be discontinued) for some time now. This will be in my online store soon for anyone who is interested.

So yeah, my summer has been super busy packed with all kinds of projects and events. Looking forward to some slower time around the holidays. We have a couple of trips coming up, including one to Puerto Rico where I hope to (at least ONE day) check out the local fiber art stores. Maybe I can bring home some amazing yarn for 2026 projects!
See you soon, keep hooking!
